Good Neighbour Brewing Co. is committed to providing a welcoming and safe space for every person who enters our Brewery and Taproom such as our team, the suppliers we work with, the folks we collaborate with and the patrons we serve. Good Neighbour Brewing Co. strives to create an inclusive, respectful, and accessible space that is welcoming to all people.

 

Land Acknowledgement

The owners and staff of Good Neighbour Brewing Co. acknowledge that the Taproom and Brewery is situated on Treaty 1 territory on original lands of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation. We recognize that the water we use in our facility comes from Shoal Lake 40 and our hydroelectricity comes from Northern Manitoban Indigenous communities. We recognize the harm that this resource extraction has caused and endeavour to do our part in repairing relationships with Indigenous communities.

Anti-Oppression Policy

Discriminatory, oppressive, or unsafe language or behaviour will NOT be tolerated in our Taproom or Brewery. This includes but is not limited to language or behaviour that is racist, sexist, classist, ableist, transphobic, fatphobic, heterosexist, or oppressive in any other way. Nobody is permitted to create an unsafe environment through violence, harassment, bullying, harmful language, vandalism, or other unsafe acts. 

 

 

Harassment and Violence Prevention

We are committed to providing a harassment-free environment for our team and patrons. Good Neighbour Brewing Co. will not tolerate behaviour such as discrimination, harassment, and/or bullying that are likely to create an unsafe environment. Violent behaviour of any kind or threats of violence, either implied or direct, will not be tolerated at Good Neighbour Brewing Co.

 

 

Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment and Assault

Sexual and gender-based harassment are kinds of discrimination. Sexually harassing or bullying someone because of their sex, gender identity or sexual orientation is not acceptable. Good Neighbour Brewing Co. will not tolerate any form of sexual or gender-based harassment.
